Poured from a 16 oz can dated October 31, 2023. Aroma is fruity and hop forward with lots of passion fruit, guava, and melon with lighter notes of tropical citrus, peach and pineapple. Light cracker malt and oat notes with light carbonation. Pours a very murky, golden orange color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Fairly high lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with light cracker malt and oat notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly hop forward and fruity with lots of passion fruit, guava, melon and tropical citrus. Lighter peach and pineapple notes. Light dank, resin notes linger into the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid DIPA with really nice, fruity hop notes. Balanced malt profile and sweetness to hide the alcohol while allowing the fruity hop notes to shine and suppressing the bitterness.
