Cask (gravity) @ 32th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2015, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Bingley 1848 Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151202] 6-3-7-3-14

Pigs Ear Day 4. Cask. Clear deep brown - amber beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry, modest carbonation. Thin tangy dark mals. Some ripe fruits. Light finish. Just another stout! Yawn!

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours clear, deep red-brown with a bubbly, off-white head. Some apple notes on the nose, lightly toasted malts, earth. Light sweet flavor with more apple, apple sauce, light leather, berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation; so so condition. Lightly drying on the finish, with some ripe apples, lightly toasted malts. Pretty mediocre.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is dark malt, pinch of spice, toffee, light charr. Taste comprises dark fruits, hint of tobacco, spice, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with light roasted tones. Ok stout.

One-third pint measure, cask ale at Jacobs Beer House in Bradford. Creamy, fawn-coloured head to a near black body. Smell of dark dough. Taste of bread, milk chocolate with a backdrop of dried fruits. Slightly roasted bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Satisfying (08.07.2015).

Cask @ Jacobs Beer House, Bradford. Dark red with an off-white creamy head. Very light roasted malts with a slight milkiness.
