[ As Morton Collins Strong Brown Ale ].Clear medium to dark amber brown color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, earthy, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161129] 5-3-5-3-11

Pig’s Ear Fest. Cask. Light haze on this deep reddish - amber beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Smooth light malts bring mild toffee - caramel. Floral overtones with a mild and tired fruity vibe. Light semi dry finish. Tastes fine but overall has a somewhat tired vibe. And 4.8% is strong?!

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is earthy fruits, biscuit, cocoa sprinkle, brown sugar. Taste comprises raisins, light spice, biscuit malt, toffee, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi dyring close with a light bitter tang. Ok for style.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. Nit brown reddy coloured pour with a dirty tan head. Aroma is earthy nutty twig, tangy fruits, earthy toffee, Kamp coffee. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, coffee toffee, vanilla praline. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, lowish carbonation.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2016 - London. Pours copper-brown with a frothy, khaki head. The aroma holds toasted bread, aged fruits, earth. Light sweet flavour with burnt caramel, coffee, mellow earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more leathery fruits, berries, earth, faint cocoa, toast. Fine.
