Clear dark black color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, dried berries, wood, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, wood, leather, dark malt, roasted, alcohol, dried berries. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light moderate alcoholic. [20170128] 8-2-8-4-16

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is earthy and roasted malty. Toasted malty. Dry, bitter and dark roasted malty. Lingering roasted malty finish.

Keg at Taproom Malmo. It pours jet black with a medium tan head. The aroma is rich roasted, dark fruits, jammy berry, fruit compote, fortified wine and light vanilla. The taste is dry, very woody, red berry, dried fruits, vinous, warming alcohol, charred wood, chewy malt, leather and bitter chocolate with a dry, warming finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Chewy, vinous and rich. Good fun and I like the oil industry connection!
