Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Bexar County Go All The Way ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, dark chocolate, berry - fruity - rapsberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, berry - fruity, rapsberry, dark malt, fruity malt, roasted, chocolate, light blackcurrant - raspberry tart. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161129] 7-4-7-3-14

Pigs Ear Fest. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dry dark malts, some dark chocolate. Punchy raspberry, some blackberry. Light semi dry finish. Pretty fruity stout.

Gravity at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is dark fruits, light charr, spice, cocoa powder, red berry notes. Taste comprises chocolate, biscuit, cherry skins, raspberries, shades of black forest gateaux. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2016 - London. Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. The aroma holds a nice mix of ripe raspberry and cocoa. Melding sweet flavour with moderate roast baking cocoa, scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes fairly dry, with more baking cocoa, scorched earth, raspberry. Very nice.

Cask Gravity at Pigs Ear. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, tangy, roast, dried berry, eccles cake, berry compote and jam. The taste is smooth, mellow, toasty, cocoa, some booze, wood, leather, earthy, umami and charred wood with a warming finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit rough around the edges. Fair.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. Black coloured pour with a lasting loose mid tan head . Aroma is tangy blackberry, tangy, dark choc vimto. Flavor is composed of bitter black choc, roast, tangy blackberry fruit, raspberry, . Palate is rounded, tangy moderate carbonation. Good stuff.
