Keg at The Round, Keswick. Pale yellowy-gold with a white head and a light fizz. Gentle lemon flavour with an odd sharpness. Softish mouthfeel. It's ok at best.

Keg at the Blacksmiths Arms, Broughton Mills. Straw yellow. Lemon, wood and grain dominate the light aroma. Bittersweet with a bit of citrussy sour. Fresh slightly bitter aftertaste. Carbonation is refreshing, especially after a day of walking. Ok.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Straw coloured lager styled ale, no head. Has a decent enough pilsner malt aroma and taste but with no carbonation so it’s a noticeably different texture to the mainland Europe style of pils.

On cask at the Wateredge in Ambleside. Appearance - pale lemon with a general look of water. Nose - lemon yoghurt a very slight hint of malt in the background. Taste - a good lemon tangy with a touch if herbiness on the end. Palate - light bodied with a lean tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent enough lager.
