Borefts 2019 - Black and oily. This one has a lot of alcohol. Nice dryness. Too boozy. Not much cognac.

27/IX/19 - on tap @ Borefts Day 1, BB: n/a - (2019-1557) Thanks to the international RateBeer Crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear black beer, creamy dense beige head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit smoky, very roasted, dusty, bit oxidized, decent smell! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice roast, sugary, bit yeasty, lots and lots of alcohol, bitter touch. Aftertaste: more roast, too much roast for my palate, don't like it that much.

Borefts XI Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts. Tangy dark chocolate. Little tangy dark fruits. Plenty of spice. Smooth and semi dry finish. A little hot but fine.

Draft. A black beer with a thin rim of brown head. The aroma has notes of prunes, over ripe fruits, cognac, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, wood, roasted malt, prunes, and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry finish. Over done.

Bottle. Black, tiny light brown head. Aroma has chocolate, barrel, cognac. Oily mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, choc, cognac, boozy with a little licorice. Lasting, boozy cognac warmth. A little messy but ok.

Bottle. Almost black. Malt, roast, vinous notes and vanilla in the shyish aroma.. Malty sweet, soft roasty, velvety flavor with caramel, vanilla, raisin and vinous notes. Hint of oak. Coconut. Complex, pleasant flavor.
