Elgood’s Coolship Sour Mango Ale is brewed using traditional methods & original brewing equipment. Spontaneous fermentation is initiated on our unique double coolships. This unique English style sour beer has been blended with Mango for a tropical touch. The beer is bright golden in colour with a sparkling finish. The tropical fruit flavour is off-set by the smooth sourness of the Coolship Ale, resulting in a refreshing and satisfying drink.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - amber with decent lacing. Nose - mango, earthy and funky. Also apricot. Taste - fresh but pungently ripe mango. Just a little sourness. Palate - tangy and light to medium bodied. Tangy dry finish. Overall - very interesting.

On Tap at Prefunk Boise Slightly hazy deep orange. No head. Big sweet fruity mango and apple flavors. Like juice, with a little tartness. Jolly Rancher almost. Barely beer, shocked it is as big as 5% Tasty though.

This pours a clear colour of brass, small subsiding head of foam leaving some lacing behind.
Smells like ground up pits of peaches and mangoes. Lovely aromas with a mild tartness to it.
The taste lives up to the smell. Light fresh fruit tartness from peaches and mangoes. Long lingering aftertaste.
Light bodied with medium carbonation.
Very enjoyable!

Pours an almost clear peachy amber colour with a tiny white head. A sweet fruity peach and mango aroma. An initial syrupy fruity peach sweetness, with a fruity tang and a light tart sourness in the finish. Won't be hurrying back for another pint of this one.

Taster at BitterCreek. Not a big fan of mango, but this rocks. Clear amber pot, small, sparse head. Sweet, tropical aroma. Taste elevates the palate, sweet and juicy. More sweet than tart. Easy to drink, sublime, but complex. Wow!
