Elgood’s Coolship Sour Mango Ale is brewed using traditional methods & original brewing equipment. Spontaneous fermentation is initiated on our unique double coolships. This unique English style sour beer has been blended with Mango for a tropical touch. The beer is bright golden in colour with a sparkling finish. The tropical fruit flavour is off-set by the smooth sourness of the Coolship Ale, resulting in a refreshing and satisfying drink.

Old rating - 330ml bottle from Ransom's garden centre in Jersey. Actually, Elgoods Coolship Sour Mango Ale in different packaging, so not the dismissive novelty beer! It pours a light red with a tiny head. Reasonable carbonation, but not quite sparkling. Aromas & tastes of mango sour, peach, wood, flora & tart. Moderate body & sweetness. Enjoyable as a one off

From RHS Wisley shop, as Thoughtful Forager Sparkling Mango Sour. Aroma of sugary mango. Vague sourness. Fizzy translucent white head disappears entirely. Amber gold. Light-medium sourness. Minimal funk. Underlying sweet mango puree. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Polite restrained lambic. No mistaking the mango. It's fine.

9/4/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours clear amber with a small short lasting white head. Aroma of mango sour, peach, wood, flowers, and a bit of coconut oil. Moderate sweetness and medium sour. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Grew on me but preferred the fruit one.

Bottle from the Copper Room, Stamford. Brownish gold, clear with almost no head. Brownish gold, clear with almost no head. Overripe mango, brown bread pudding, compost and well overstewed chamomile tea in the aroma. Sour taste with lots of mango. It's okay, but tastes a bit slightly artificial. Sadly my least favourite of the Elgood coolship beers.

Bottle. A- Mango, tea tree leaves, mild caramel. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Mango, caramel, subtle floral notes, mild tartness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- First off, this is in no way a lambic at least per any I've tasted. The mango was natural and blended in well. A bit of a floral flavor that I couldn't place but was nice. Overall, I enjoyed this a lot. Not very sour though.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear dark gold with a thin white head. Aromas of earthy funk and mango. Acetic, woody. Taste is pungent fresh mango. Sharp sour at the back. Odd. Can't make my mind up about this one, the tastes kind of clash.
