Bottle from Appellation Wines, Dalry Rd. Appearance - golden with a light haze and a generous fluffy head. Nose - candied orange, almost marmalade, white pepper. Brown bread. Taste - canned mandarins, and peaches too. Light custard note. Rye spice at the back and on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture through the middle section that leaves just the light crunchy note on the finish. Overall - enjoyable.

Bottle from Little Leeds Beer House in the Corn Exchange, consumed at home Sunday 6th November 2016 whilst cooking a big Mexican meal. Pours mid gold with a fair haziness to it, a huge foamy white head. A touch of soapy hops, really easy drinking beer, not really getting the rye, but am getting a nice fruity toffee, and light lemony edge (citrussy) not great at picking up certain things, but regardless I like it. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has reasonable carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet with a nice contrasting and light rye spice. Trace of vanilla, almost barrel aged. Mellow orange and marmalade. Mildly spicy orange. Some bitterness on the end. Hangs together well.

Hazy amber, bitter citrus aroma. Malt, grapefruit, hop and a slightly sour tangy aftertaste. Could go it a bit cooler but itโ€™s nice.
