Cask @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival XX, Espoo. Pours slightly hazy orange with a smooth bubbly head. Aroma of herbal hops, grass, pine, resin, caramel and toffee. Taste is sweetish, malty and herbal hoppy with some grass, pine, resin and toffee, hints of dill and Sorachi Ace. Finish is massively hoppy with some pine, herbal notes, grass, resin and sweetish caramely malts, hints of dill. Quite good.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy amber with a decent lacy head. Nose - tropical fruits and resin. Strangely something resembling blackcurrant. Wood and leafiness too. Taste - resin dominated but not in an overly bitter way. Earthy, spice notes. The fruit is oranges and again with something akin to blackcurrant. Maybe blackcurrant leaf. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture yet dry and earthy middle section that continues through the finish. Overall - interesting beer. And good too.

Hazy deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth, fairly dry and has decent carbonation. Smooth malts, lightly sweet. Ripe orange into spicy orange. Ripe tropical fruits. Trace of lemon. Mellow skunk and pine underneath. Finishes with spicy bitter orange peel, grapefruit and something akin to Sorachi coming through, maybe Summit. Plenty of flavour but it never quite sings, perhaps a little to ripe and bitter.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of tangerine and strawberry syrup. Flavour of caramel and pine. Medium body with an oily texture. Very soft fizz. Quite sweet, and not as fizzy as Iโd hoped, but itโs still a decent IPA.

Bottle via Eebria consumed at home Sunday 22nd May 2016 at home whilst cooking Haddock, Chorizo and Chickpea Stew. Pours hazy dark amber, really quite hazy in fact, with an off-white head atop.Fruity nose, more accurately its like an overipe slight tropical fruit nose, no one particular fruit jumping out at me though. Nice soft carbonation, fruity with a bitter edge and slight rough, messy fruitiness (citrus) lingers somewhat, the sweetness soon gives away to a lengthy bitterness, though it isnโt that bitter. I like it, but its not quite up there with some of the other Odyssey beers that I have had. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
