Cask at Leyton Technical. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, lemon parfait, grapefruit, floral and dull lime. The taste is crisp, clean, straw, bitter, grassy, grainy, lemon peel and grapefruit with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A touch grainy, but ok.

Bottle shared with AshtonMcCobb. Iām too Sussexy for this Tasting. Pours pale hazy lemon yellow with a head. Aromas of lemon thyme, generic herbalness. Taste is lemon bitter, astringent, then a sucrose finish. Not great.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - very pale lemon and generally watery looking. Nose - lemon and elderflower. Some lemon balm or even lemon thyme. Taste - sweet lemon notes then ending in astringent green notes. Palate - light bodied with a dry middle section that continues to the end. Overall - not great.

Cask at the Lyric - Soho, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly doughy, pale bread in the nose with nips of grains and dirty hay. Light sweet flavor with nicely rounded bready malt character, some lightly toasted white bread, husky grains, hay, mild ripe orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Light bitter hay and grain finish with more well-realised pale bread malt structure, dirty hay, some orange rind bitterness. Pretty decent golden ale.
