Grainy, earthy, a little sour. Heavily carbonated. Not bad.

Aroma Grapefrukt, mango, brød, innestengt lukt, malt, humle. Utseende tåkete gylden nesten uten skum. Smak mango?, appelsin?, brød, sitrus, malt, humle. Fyldig øl med myk munnfølelse, noe ubestemmelig frukt i smaken, middels lang fruktig ettersmak. Smakt

2017 edition. pours slightlar blonde. Nearly no white head, certainly no lifespan. Scent is raw , very herbal. tad cheesy almost. A lot of stuff that could be seen as brewing flaws, but do belong in what this beer tends to be. Overall, they're not troublesome as they do work together, it just seems like less of my palate. Taste is sharp, tart, dry, wheat, bitter, very grainy (wheat) ending. No real DMS here, more like corny touch (which is close, but not the same I guess ) Medium high carbo, medium thin body. Not a beer i particularly love, but it works quite well. Bit sweet (corn) ending.

Kveik-fermented blonde ‘farmhouse’ ale by the great instigator of modern craft brewing in Norway, thanks tderoeck for sharing. Snow white, bubbly, open, quickly dissolving head, hazy golden-yellow blonde robe. Aroma of passionfruit, ripe banana, gooseberry jam, pineapple, white bread, lychee, guava, chalk, white grapes, green apple. Fruity onset, sweetish core with a sourish edge, hinting at passionfruit, guava and pineapple with a touch of green apple, fizzy carb, smooth and slick bready malt sweetishness with persisting sourishness at the edges; fruity-estery aspects from the kveik yeast strain are very obvious in the finish (guava, grape, banana), more so than I have encountered in any kveik-fermented beer so far. Hop bitterness remains all but absent, something chalky and soapy does however linger, along with a trace of onsetting oxidation, possibly the result of the near-absence of IAAs from the hops. Feels a bit simplistic, an easy quencher to be enjoyed young, but surely effective at that; in that sense this one indeed has a traditional cachet to it, even if it is brewed by a brewery which is anything but traditional – and will probably be more remembered for its bold interpretations of U.S. style craft ales than for this one…

14/III/20 - 33cl bottle @ lockdown tasting (home), BB: 16/VI/19, batch: 16/VI/17 (2020-265) Thanks to Alengrin for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, lots of (over)ripe banana, bit sourish, grains, orange peel, some passion fruits, cardboard, bit oxidized. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, bubble gum, banana flavoured candy, bit sugary, soft acidity, bit sugary. Aftertaste: soft sweetness, malty, some passion fruits, sweet white grapes, lactobacillus, oxidized, ripe papaya, more fruity notes, pretty interesting!

# 1002; 4/2018. Velmi zvláštní, netradiční a zajímavý pivo. Takový limonádový, citrusový, brusinkový a se zvláštní příchutí jehličí a trávy.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a small, white head. Sweet spicy nose, of the sweet gale in particular. Medium body, lowish carbonation, sweet with distinct notes of both spruce and sweet gale. Decently drinkable if you're into herbal berrs. 081018

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Floral-herbal, resinous, minimally woody aroma, hints of birch sap or the like, spruce, (don't know which) petals or herbs . Taste is sweet-ish malty, resinous, woody, floral, herbal, hints of spruce, birch sap, herbs and petals, maybe verbena. Mild, harmonious - OK.
