Very hazy deep amber and even light brown coloured body with a nice one to two centimetre tall just off-white head that stays afloat nicely and leaves a thin lace on top of the 90 per cent opaque amber body. Aroma of candy sugar, curacao, grass, hay, bananas, cloves, light bubble gum and a good sweetness in the nose with some alcohol and definite hop bite here. Medium-bodied; Pretty strong floral and grassy dry notes dominate with a good dry quality, but not much curacao, sweetness or spicey yeast qualities that show in the nose, with not much flavour, at least at first - but this ends pretty quickly and has a light sweetness here, but stronger hop bitterness to finish this off. Aftertaste is pretty clean, but showing the grass, flowers, subdued yeast flavours and relatively light hop bitterness and the soft sugars make this much softer than expected throughout. Overall, a decent beer, not bad, but nowhere close to as good/complex as I was hoping for, as the bitterness is muted, the yeast is mild and the sugars are soft and this as a whole is crisp, but a bit too light for the style. Nice to try, but NOT one of my favourites from the twelve pack. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 23-December-2023 for US$9,99/twelve pack, with a 'best by' date of 31-January-2023 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-February-2023.

Can from 12 Beers of Christmas 12-pack. Pours s nearly amber color, a bit hazy, under a puffy white head. Nose has some Belgian malts and honey. Taste has more honey to it, which I usually don't detect in beer with honey. Sharp hop notes delivered by pinprick bubbles. Nice sweet finish.

12oz can from the 12 Beers of Christmas, purchased at local Costco. It has been a super long time since I've had any kind of Belgian IPA. Poured a mostly clear orange color with a medium sized head. Aroma was Belgian yeast, some orange. Flavor was semi-dry, earthy, citrus. Light sweet finish and a little bit of a funky finish.
