Pigs Ear Day 1. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, mildly tangy. Little dark fruits. Fairly dry finish. Tangy fruity linger. Standard stuff but fine.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 Day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with reddish highlights and a frothy off-white head. The nose has light ashy roast, cocoa, earth. Light sweet flavor with more ashy roast, dried leathery berries, slight leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and lightly ashy in the finish, mellow cocoa, leather. OK.
