Can from Dan: pours clear light red with white head. Aroma is raspberry, light lacto funk. Not very sweet. Tastes like seltzer and raspberry syrup.

Tap at the brewery taproom Richmond Virginia. A clear reddish copper coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, tart red berries, some faint sweet sugars, cake. Flavour is composed of semi sweet and tart, tangy, sour, red berries. Cranberry sour. Palate is semi sweet, tangy sour highish carbonation.

Can pour at the Starr Hill Tysons Biergarten. Poured a slightly pale ruby-yellow color with a small white head. Aroma wasn't overly tart - at least compared to so many kettle sours. Raspberry tartness more than anything else. Flavor was very light raspberry juice, with a very light, semi-sweet tart bite.
Light strawberry pink red pour. Thick foam. Raspberry nose. Sweet and sour flavor. Raspberry malt palate. Easy carbonation

12 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2! Murky red, thin fizzy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of tart berry, wheat, a bit of lacto. Taste is jammy berries, fresh berries, lemon. Sourness is very mild. That being said, it's simple but very tasty. Nice.

Standard raspberry sour, tart berries with a citric bite, slight jammy sweetness on top of a welcome toasted grain undertone. I know breweries have to make beers like these to appease today's market, but damned if it isn't impossible to differentiate one from another. Not bad. Not interesting. Precisely what you expect when you see Raspberry Sour on the label.

Pink coloured body with a faint, thinnish peach and tan head that shows only larger bubbles with little else. Aroma of tart raspberries, blueberries and a dash of wheat noticeable, all with a kettled sour and lemon bite towards the end, especially. Light-bodied; Strong tart raspberry flavours up front with a light brine and salty component tha shows some wheat, yeast and especially raspberry notes with a twinge of artificiality with some more unique wheatie and tart finishes that has a hint of alcohol tucked in near the end and a dash of grass as well. Aftertaste shows the tart fruity notes with a little brine and pure salt flavours with a dry and decidedly perfumey aftertaste that make this even more complex - especially during the first few sips. Overall, a fairly mild tart and lightly soured beer that shows some gose like flavours of brine and salt, but the fruity notes definitely outweigh the former and the finish shows some complexity and fruity, soured grain. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased by my Mom in Manassas, Virginia and shared with me on Mother's Day 2019 - 12-May-2019.
