Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a thick white head and good retention. Limited lacing. Light hop aroma. Bready malt flavor with a little honey sweetness. Not getting much citrus flavor. Not bitter. Medium heavy mouthfeel. Thick for the style. Low carbonation. Bready finish.

12 oz bottle from the Gameday variety pack. Aroma is bready, grainy, floral. Pours hazy golden-orange with a smallish bone-white head that settles into a cap of foam somewhat quickly. Taste has a bready malt sweetness, a faint bitterness and faint acidity on the back end; flavors like the aroma descriptors. Nice creamy mouthfeel and just right carbonation. Not bad.

Pours a dark, hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of bread yeast, slight floral notes. Taste is similar to a pilsener, thick doughy and yeast-like elements punctuated by a slight herbal background. Palate contains coriander pilsen malt, slight citrus notes. Excellent beer, surprisingly so.

Straightforward Americanized take on a Helles lager, if a bit lacking in floral hops; needs a crisper finish to offset the buttered-corn malt sweetness on the front end. Hints of lemon, toasted bread, and grain, but the fade lacks any personality, instead allowing a lingering, near hop-free yeastiness to cling to the palate for what seems like ages. Full-bodied and rich, but clumsy and one-note. Eh.

Had a few of bottles of these at the in laws in NH. Not sure how I've missed these at the local beer store. Taste is fairly mild, not sure if you'd call this a helles, but if it is, its one of the better ones I've tasted lately. Right up there with the better Helles like Uinta Fest Helles, Höss Neuschwansteiner Helles Lager, or Mad Chef Munich Helles Lager. But not quite as good as Edenton Helles Angel. This stuff comes across more like a civilized lighter hefe to me. Easy going and friendly. Yes a tad of bitterness, to make sure you know its beer but, much better than expected. Good carbonation follows this beer clear to the end.

Bottle from Jcwatts, thanks for the hookup. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a thick frothy off white head that persists. Rich bready crackery pilsner malt on the nose with bits of floral spicy hops. Taste follows the aroma, really tasty beer.
