Cask at Pig’s Ear. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, rich coffee character, earthy roast, mild acidity and a touch of peppery spice. The taste is rich, earthy, bitter, big coffee vibe, coffee cake, toasty action, light acidity and a hint of astringency with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A simple, but not unenjoyable coffee-driven beer.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 01/12/15. Mahogany brown with a decent beige head of bubbles. Nose is rich in coffee grinds, light spice, toffee, charr. Taste is not as rich as the nose comprising biscuit, coffee, light charr, spice, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coffee fuelled stout.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a mellow, foamy white head. Huge Dunkin’ Donuts coffee aroma, some brown bread, toast. Light to medium sweet flavor with more rich coffee, toasted brown bread, light caramel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; pretty good condition. More hearty coffee character to close it out, light earthy bitterness, grainy toast. Nice one.
