Pours dark reddish brown with a tiny bubbly head. Aroma of sourish red berries, hints of cherries, yeast and earthy notes. Taste is vinous, heavy with berries, hints of tartish and sourish notes, yeast and dry earthiness. Finish is vinous with loads of berries and earthiness. Decent, quite vinous but not very sour.

On tap @Stavio (Rome). Pours a coca cola color with a medium to little off-white head. Aroma of chinotto, Fernet Branca, bergamot, herbal, medicin. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter-sour end. Medium to high body, medium carbonation. Weird, rough.

Bouteille 50cl @ Isola della Birra, Milano. Lotto# 13, bottled 05/01/2014, BB 05/01/2018. Note fine de malt biscuité, fruité noir aigrelet.

Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 08/02/14. Light black with a moderate tan covering that clears to a pond then retains. Nose is tarte berry fruit, tannins, woody twinges, tarte fruit. Taste comprises mellow stewed fruit notes, tartened red berry skins, dank straw, very light balsamage. Light to medium bodied but a little too thin for the ABV, veering towards watery at times, drying close. Lacks depth for the style and ABV but drinkable enough.
