Bottled. Hazy brownish copper colour with a small head. Aroma is buttery, some tar, mild toffee, citrus, acidity and a bit metallic tones. Flavour is metallic, ashy, some slight toffee and mild vinegary tones. Not sure what happened, but this was quite bad. Not that much oud bruin or flanders red over it.

Bottle shared @ tasting. Thanks Nathan! Soft carbonation. Very moldy basement odor. Taste is sharp sour, notes of vinegar, wine, brett. Nice taste, but a pity this smells so old.

Capped and corked 375 ml bottle.

Pours black but more of a cola black than pitch black. There was a solid pop when I pulled the cork out but no gushing. Not a huge head of off white foam but persistent.

The sour smell leans towards a vinegar character but dark pitted fruit is there as well. Slight nose from the oak aging peeks through.

Much more oak in the taste. Vinegar and dark fruits sourness rule the roost. Some vanilla in the background.

Medium body light carbonation.

Heck of a good sour beer but the price point is kind of hard to go to on a regular basis.
