0.5 l can from 'Bierothek', best before June 2026. Clear, very dark ruby with a few off-white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky and a little fruity aroma of molasses, caramel, smoked ham, some raisins and traces of chocolate. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite smoky and gently fruity taste of molasses, caramel, chocolate, raisins, prunes and smoked ham, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really nice Bock, very rich, quite well-balanced.

Pours a deep reddish-brown with a creamy, persistent head. The aroma is rich and layered, with malty sweetness, caramel, and dark fruit alongside pronounced smoky notes, hints of bacon, and dried prune. Moderate bitterness keeps the sweetness in check, while the full body and oily texture give it a warming, substantial feel. A touch of dryness emerges toward the finish, which lingers with fruity and smoked malt complexity.

500ml can. Wonderful, clear, dark auburn colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Not overly intense, but quite condensed, smoky, caramel malty aroma, notes of smoked wood, barbecue sauce, a touch of toffee, wood ashes, minimally fruity overtones with a touch of plum, smoked bacon wrapped plum. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly smoky, notes of caramel, smoked wood, barbecue sauce, some treacle, a weak fruity touch of plum, plum butter, smoked bacon wrapped plum.
Dissolved sugar enriched, slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy and cloying palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Mild smokiness, very homogeneous, soft, oily; not overly complex, somehow reduced, chaste, "essential" - good, pleasing, but not exciting.

A clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of smoked dark malt, bacon, wood. Taste of bacon, sweet caramelized malt, woody, moderate bitterness.

28.06.2025 Aromat ciemnych słodów i wędzony. Piana beżowa obfita klarowne bursztynowo brązowe. Smak słodowy, z wyraźnym wędzonym akcentem przypominający bardziej smaki stout, raczej słodkie niż wytrawne, karmel, goryczka średnio niska. Nagazowanie spore, treściwość średnio duża, gładkie alkohol niewyczuwalny finisz krótki. Ogólnie ciekawe w smaku karmelowe z wędzeniem ale melanoidyn nie czuje.

Süffiger, intensiv süß-rauchiger Beginn. Speck, milde Bitterkeit, Nuancen von Bitterschokolade. Die Süße hält sich zurück, ist aber stark genug, die Rauchnoten passend zu unterstützten. Süffig, dunkles Malz, moderate Herbe. Würzig, langer rauchiger Abgang, lecker! 9/12/13/11/10/12

50cl Blik, dank Harmen! Amberbruine kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Rook, kampvuur, zoete gerookte mout, vers brood, caramel, toffee, worst, grassig, geconfijte vruchtjes, bitterzoete finish. Medium body, glad. Mag zich meten met de grote jongens. Erg lekker.
