Keg at the Bootlegger, 12/09/16. Clear golden orange with a decent cream cap. Nose is sweet Malts, caramel sauce, papaya, Mandarin. Taste comprises caramel malt, sweet tropical underlay, papaya, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, juicy hop tang at the curtain call. Overly perfumed and sweet for my liking and lacking balance.

Keg at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe. 4.8% abv but assume that doesn’t warrant a new entry on the database. Very murky amber brew, negligible head but a moderate fizz. Big hit of floral flavours up front with peach and orange coming through. Lovely lively flavours- feels like it’s dancing on my tongue. The moderately bitter finish provides a good balance and leaving it tasty and satisfying yet refreshing. A great brew to finish on before the long walk home on this muggy night.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Label states batch 02. 4.8%. Brewer is calling this an Amber Ale. Definitely amber coloured. Very hazy. Half film, and half bubbles on top. Sticks to the glass. Nose has nice floral, honeyed malts. Ripe peach and raspberry hop. Bit of spice and a bit jammy. Taste is lightly sweet. Some hop spice bitterness. Light to medium body. Creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. More of the hop spice on the finish. Decent. Smells lovely.

Cask @ Sparrow Bier Café, Bradford. Slightly hazed amber with a glow and a thin head. Crisp and hoppy, with a heavy floral taste. Its nose gives the impression it is stronger than it is with some stewed fruitiness here.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Fruity, hoppy aroma has notes of orange, peach, apricot, a touch of lemon zest, biscuity malty basis with hints of caramel. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly resinous, fruity, hints of peach and apricot, some orange, a touch of blood orange; minimally chalky, bitter finish, minimally watery interludes. Nice, refreshing, straightforward summer ale.
