The predominant Amarillo and Mosaic hops bring distinct citrus and berry flavours, which are balanced by the sharper line notes from the Rakau and Motueka. The result is an exceptionally refreshing Pale Ale with a rewarding bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Herbal and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of peppermint, a touch of woodruff and lime, very weak and subtle hints of orange, blueberry and mango. Taste is minimally sweet, pale and caramel malty with a nuttily touch of peanut, herbal-grassy hoppy overtones with hints of peppermint, more imagined than really present, diluted Mosaic flavours of passion fruit, mango and blueberry. Underneath the usual Wiper & True quality level.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Slightly murky, pale amber. Film and halo of sticky, white head. Nose has minty toffee. Some parma violet sweets. Pine needle. Bit of an aromatic, ripe gage thing. Smells good. Taste is light, floral bitter. Some stickiness on the lips. Light to medium body. Foamy carbonation. Dries a little toward the end. Decent enough, though it smells a bit better than it tastes, for me.
