bomber bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head that quickly recedes to a fine ring around the glass. The aroma is big and strong with whiskey barrel, dark fruits and caramel. The taste is complex and comes across as having black licorice in the forefront; followed by raisins, whiskey, caramel and toffee. Bitterness is low and has a bitter walnut quality. The palate is full and oily with soft carbonation. Finishes long and sweet with lingering caramel and toffee. Overall: Decent: That is to say--delicious, I do love a toffee barleywine. Paired well with some English Cheddar.

Caramel, dark fruits, American oak, vanilla, very fruity. Taste is along the same lines with mamy layers and great complexity! It is amazing!

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of sticky toffee malts, brown sugar, and pleasant bourbon barrels. Flavour is big n burly, with big bourbon character, toffee, brown sugar, and some alcohol. Nice bourbon character, finishing with boozy sticky toffee. Well-integrated as usual but doesn't quite rise to the level of complexity of some of the best Fremont BA beers.

Murky amber, just a thin head. What you expect from a Fremont Anniversary- toffee, figs, sultanas, rich and sticky. Soft body, a bit of alcohol coming in the back. Complex, stylish and rich, just a wonderful barley wine.
