Semi-transparent golden pour with a thin white head. Lots of oak, saison funk, citrus, floral hops, sharp mineral funk, on top of a malty backbone. Good stuff!

From tap at MBCC. Light hazy yellow golden color with white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, funky, tart citrusy fruity, wood, vinous. Sweet and acidic taste. Almost medium oily body with soft carbonation.

0,75l bottle at home shared by me. Bottled 03.02.2016. Batch 02. golden clear shiny color, small white head. smells citric, musty, earthy, flowery, light ripe fruits. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, earthy, green apples, grassy, some herbs, light estragon, bit peppery, some funk. finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of grass, citrus and some peppery notes. good one, rather dry and sour but quite good to drink. could use a bit more complexity overall.

Bottle split at RB Best awards dinner, thanks to Women Can’t Sale, 30/01/16. Hazed golden orange with a solid looking off white head. Nose is melon, funk, citric tinged straw, tarte citric rinds, mellow hop tinge. Taste comprises mandarin, pissy citric shreds, grains, damp hay, farmyard notes, light yeast, wooded, mellow green berry. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering. Decent saison.

(750ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours a nearly clear medium gold with a small white head that fades to a ring without lace. Aroma of citrus, slightly lemony, soft white wine grapes, cut grass, hay, yeast, light to moderate barnyard funk, rather prominent oak, lightly tart overall. Flavour has a bit of sweet pale malt, sweet lemon, gooseberry, light pit fruit, white wine barrel, fairly creamy buttery oak, soft floral notes, very little funk, dry and mineral in the finish with white pepper and dry grass, and lingering oak. Medium bodied with frothy carbonation of average strength. A solid saison with relatively light influence of the mixed fermentation, moderate influence of barrel and good balance. Refreshing stuff.
