Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 27, 2023. Aroma is hop forward and fruity with lots of passion fruit, mango, and orange with lighter notes of pineapple and tropical citrus. Lighter dank, oily, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale, golden straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of passion fruit, mango and tropical citrus with lighter orange and pineapple notes. Quite a bit of dank, resin hop bite that lingers in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty solid hazy DIPA. Balanced bitterness and malt profile that carries the sweetness and alcohol notes well. Hop aroma is nice and fruity and juicy while the flavor is fairly fruity but with a decent hop bite that lingers in the finish.
