Historical tick. Have resisted doing it but want to see how they impact my stats. PoW, Farnborough, very shortly before signing up to RB. Cask.

Third, cask at BeerHeadZ, shared with Finn. Smaal sized white head, clear golden body, filmy layer. Modest smell of ripe citrus and malty sweetness. Blended taste of ripe fruits, biscuit and a touch of toffee. Mild hop fruity end balanced by mid-sweet malt. Accepted. (Lincoln 30.01.2020).

[Cask at Tap East, Stratford.] A pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head; floral aroma with some lime zest; soft biscuity body with a gentle citrus taste; and a dry finish. Surprisingly full bodied for the ABV.

Handpull cask at the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Aggressively poured which means a big loose white head and haziness which takes a while to settle. Straw, or at least very light yellow. Grapefruit peel oozes out of the aroma along with some possety notes. Mouth puckering bitterness in the taste. Nice but not clean. Some notes of wood shavings and a bold astringency that pervades. It does, as advertised, have a strong body for the ABV and style. I want to like it more than I do. I think it’s better than I think it is if that makes sense.
