21/4/2020. Sample courtesy of the Højbjerg massive. Pours dark amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, brown sugar, pastry, baked apple and nut. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture. Sweet toffee strudel finish. Not bad.

[ As Rhombus Apfel Strudel ].
ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, caramel, sweet malt, light apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, sweet malt, caramel, light apple, maybe some apple pie notes also. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate malty and light hoppy flavor. Light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @Saxo's. Clear brown, light beige head. Mild roast, a little nuts and some apple in the aroma. Nutty flavour, some roast, a little apple. Roasted bitterness.

Bottle @ Corona Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, apples, cream, fruits, malt and hops. Sweet caramel and apple finish.

Bottle at the flat in Gabrovo - picked up at 100 Beers in Sofia. Pours clear russet with a foamy, off-white head. It’s an all around tasty beer, with notes of lightly toasted bread, nips of cinnamon, apple accents, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Nicely rounded finish with further lightly toasted malts, mellow cinnamon, just touches of stewed apples. Enjoyable beer. A refreshingly restrained concept-adjunct beer.
