Cask @ Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Copper with a small head. Has a light berry sweetened aroma and taste that’s really appealing given its light easy drinking texture with a smoothness to it.

Cask ale, half at Wetherspoons Babington Arms. Stable fawn-coloured head, lacing blanketing the glass. Clear copper coloured body. Dark caramel nose added by a fruit hoppy touch. Dried fruity taste mingled with caramel malts. Quite hoppy towards the ending. Well bodied. A nice one (Derby 22.02.2015).

Hand-pulled half-pint in my local Wetherspoons on 20th feb 2015. Amber pour with a full off-white head that gave some good lacing. Fruity brew with a mango and tropical aroma, the taste also leaning towards tropical fruits. The finish however is more dry and bitter: nice and easy to drink, the 4.9% ABV well hidden by the flavours and body depth.
