Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy, honeyed orange colour. Thin, white head. Aroma is white bread dough, pear drops and a subtle ripe cherry fruitiness. The ginger is distinct too, but not at all dominant. A ginger spiciness is evident on the palate too. A honeyed sweetness gives way to a dry, fruity finish. Lovely.

Bottle courtesy of my dad, cheers dad! I believe that he picked it up from the brewery. We shared this at home in the garden Sunday 1st September 2013. Pours hazy orange/gold with clean white head. Furry with a dryness in mouth, yeasty, tangy, fruity beer, I really switched off whilst drinking this and would have assumed that I was drinking an authentic Belgian saison, it really is very, very good and very convincing. A little spicey it’s really nice, we both loved it and can see very few weak points or flaws in this interpretation of a saison. Great stuff! A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
