THIS IS THE BEER OF SUMMER.
This beer is fresh, piney and hoppy. By piney, we don’t mean you’re lost deep in the woods. More like you’re downwind of a pine forest and happen to get a nice whiff. Perfect for sunny days, whether in a beer garden or down your local wooded area.

Keg at Rose and Thistle, Frimley. Down as 'Other Pils'. Barman told me it was a variation of the CamdePils. no, you've got it on twice and only the one logo for the taps. Musty feint citrus aroma. A hazy light gold. Thin white head. Light bitter with citrus. Light bodied. Thin but crisp. Fizzy carb. Long dry finish. If I had been given it blind would not have realised it was a pils. Sessionable. Good stuff.

Keg at the Brewery Tap. Light yellow with some visible carbonation and a big rocky white head. Pleasant aroma and more hoppy than your average pilsner: some grapefruit and crabapple notes complement a biscuity base. Taste is less exciting: the sweet side of bittersweet with a disappointingly short finish. Some lemony notes and some slightly piney hops lurking around in the aftertaste. It’s a good beer for the style, and I’d recommend if you’re looking for a light, uncomplicated, refreshing beer that also tastes decent.

330ml bottle. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma: mild hoppy, lemon, grass, slight funky eggy sulphuric note. Taste: lemon, citrus, grassy hops, malt, grains, mild bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture. Meh, drinkable but kinda disappointed after reading all these great reviews, maybe I just had a bad bottle...
