THIS IS THE BEER OF SUMMER.

This beer is fresh, piney and hoppy. By piney, we don’t mean you’re lost deep in the woods. More like you’re downwind of a pine forest and happen to get a nice whiff. Perfect for sunny days, whether in a beer garden or down your local wooded area.

Bottle at home, from Ales By Mail, 13/03/15. Almost clear pale golden with a moderate off white cap that stays for the show. Nose is light peach, floral, soft bread dough, straw, melon, lemon rind. Taste comprises melon, light tropical notes, grapefruit rinse, soft bread, light pine needle, bitter citric, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop wash. Non trad hopped up pils but retains some foundations, solid brew.

Bottle at home picked up at Clapton Craft. Lovely looking clear pale yellow coloure pour with a lasting pure white frothy head. Aroma is really nice clean and crisp pils grains, and fresh light citrus and noble hop. Flavour is composed of crisp clean pils grains, little straw, nice light citrus hop, little hop leaf. PAlate is nice and crisp witha dry finish and effervescent on the tongue. Melts in the mouth. Bitterness is firm and beautifully balanced. A really simple beer, but beautigully balanced and uber drinkable. A very tasty beer indeed.
