5/7/2024. Cask at 27th Festival of Beer and Brewing, Stowmarket. 4.0% abv. No mention of Peacock in the name just English Pale Ale but assume it’s the same. Pours clear dark orange amber with a small bubbly frothy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, orange, citrus, caramel, malt. Quite drinkable.

Bottle at home, 18/02/17. Clear light golden blonde with a decent white head. Nose is pale malts, grassy tones, vanilla, wheat, soft bread, citric sherbets, a touch sweet. Taste comprises orange peel, citric sherbets, chalky mineral notes, caramel, light bread dough. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a crisp bitter bite at the curtain call. Ok I guess but nothing I’d rush back for.
