On the day I'm drinking this beer back in 1922 the Hollywood Bowl opened in the Golden State, with future performances from The Beatles, The Doors & The Who all taking place. This Golden State beer is suitably tropical fruity for the location it's named after, on the sweeter side with a low citric influence. Plenty of body.

Hazy gold with a bubbly white head and a tropical fruit juice aroma. Light bodied with a slightly creamy smooth mouthfeel, a little kick of pine and citrus bitterness and a long, dry fruity finish

Cloudy with a yellow colour and white, exuberant foam. Sweet tropical fruits dominate, with mango and passion fruit at the forefront, pine accents. A bit of resin, grass, leaves, grain. Citrus not very active. Medium carbonation, bitterness in the lower regions. Pleasant, resinous.

440ml can shared with Andy (AndyTF2) at Auntie Sue's BBQ on 10th August 2024. The fourth and final rate of our little session before moving onto wine. Hazed golden orange body, white crust. Citrussy front with some resinous pine flavours creeping in, nice easy going IPA.
