500ml bottle from the Offie, Leicester. It's dark brown - not stout brown but a good chocolate brown - and pretty much opaque. No head but there quite a bit of visible carbonation. Aromas lighter than I'd have thought. It's got some nutty toasty elements along with a nice hit of milk chocolate. Tastes fairly sweet but the roast malt gives in a nice bitterness to hold onto along with some earthy hop in the finish. Hazelnut spread in the aftertaste. Not the thickest body but it's lifted by heavy carbonation. A really solid offering.
