Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 18/10/24. Black with a tan head that escapes to the edge. Nose is ripe dark fruits, vanilla, hint of coffee, subtle bourbon, dark malts. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, figs, dates, chocolate, bourbon soaked oak, molasses, brown sugar melt, vanilla bean. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a mellow but well stated bourbon rise. Solid well balanced and chuggable BA impy.

Can/Fest. A- Vanilla, fudge. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Dark chocolate, fudge, vanilla, whisky. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, decadent finish. O- Wow, this was intense. Loads and loads of vanilla but somehow it didn't overpower the entire beer. There is some whisky booze notes throughout but not harsh. Just a really taste barrel aged stout. Been some time since I'd have this type of BA stout that blended as well as this does. Not too sweet either.
