Cask at Brew Wharf. It pours pale golden with a small white head. The nose is creamy, grainy, earth, hay, light toast and juicy citrus. The taste is creamy malt, assertive bitterness, grass, grapefruit, orange pith and pepper with a crisp, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great bitterness. Well integrated and highly drinkable. Really good stuff.

Cask at the brewpub - London. Pours clear gold with a fine, bubbly white hed. The nose has dirty hay and grainy malts. Light sweet flavor with some bread, bitter dry grains, hay, grass. Light bodied with soft to fine carbonation. Bitter finish, further grains and mild bready malts, more hay and grassy bitterness, lightly astringent. Hints of rindy citrus, too. So so.

Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Smooth palate with light fine carbonation. Light creamy malt. Big grapefruit pith with a touch of orange citrus. Finishes semi dry with an aggressive bitterness that lingers on and on. I really enjoyed the combination of the smooth palate with the very bitter sting in the tale.
