Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear brown with a creamy, khaki head. The aroma holds moderate roast, dry cocoa, earth. Light sweet flavour with some nice dusty cocoa, earthy bitterness, mellow roast, dry leather. Light bodied with average carbonation. Well balanced finish, more dry chocolate and modest roast. Solid.

Roast and a little caramel. A little watery like ocean streams in the Rockies. Black pour with good head and lacing. Tap at brewery.

Draft. A- Roasty, malty, cocoa, coffee, toast, soy, nutty. A- Black color, dark liquid, minimal tan head. T- Roasty, malty, slightly bitter, coffee, dry cocoa, soy sauce, nutty. P- Medium body, thin texture, medium carbonation, roasty finish. O- Maybe a session porter isn’t a good idea. This had some odd flavors to it and was just really thin and fizzy. Not the best.
