29/12/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, light roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, coffee, vanilla, hint of ash. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very nice,

Panda thanks to Fergus: Poured a deep brown black with a tan head. Aroma is rich roasted, chocolate, coffee, light caramel and vanilla. Taste is rich roasted malts, coffee bean, chocolate, light smoke.

Can split at the Autumn Watford tasting, picked up - cant recall where, 24/09/21. Extremely dark mahogany brown to light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is dark malts, charr, light smoke, hint of coffee bean. Taste comprises cocoa powder, mellow roast, ashen tones, coffee, molasses, dark malts. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kick of booze. Decent straight up easy drinking impy stout.

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - deep brown to black and opaque. Crema head. Nose - malt loaf, chocolate, molasses and an edge of smoke. Taste - molasses going into liquorice, maybe some dark fruits, dark chocolate. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture, light roasty finish. Overall - a proper stout using a great malt bill.

Appearance is black, some fizzy bubbles but no head at all really. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, milky coffee, dark malts, dark toasty malt. Taste is thick chocolate, bitter dark malts, cocoa, coffee, chocolate cake, toffee, chocolatey roast malt. Full mouthfeel, lengthy sweet finish. Nice.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Cloin. Pours mostly clear brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, lots of toasted brown bread, milk chocolate, mild earthy hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Seeet finish, more cocoa, low roast. Basic but fine.

Can shared at Watford tasting. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A dark black brown coloured pour earthy, mushroom, brown malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown sugars, mushroom,. Brown sugars. Earthy, brown sugars. Mushroom.
