Aromatic hoppy bitter. Pale and lighter than air, with a delicate balance of hop bitterness and Maris Otter malt sweetness. Generous late boil and dry-hopped additions of Chinook provide a lifting spicy, pine needle aroma, like soaring over an alpine forest.

Hand-pulled pint at the Wrekin Inn on Saturday 8th June 2024 while watching a London Rock Band warm up (my son's mates, who had come up for his Birthday). The beer was a clear light golden colour with a white crust. Bitter with a citrus leaning, sweet malty molasses in the background, found it OK but didn't have another!

Cask at Boot & Shoe, Nantwich (not listed in RateBeer). Pours a golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just hints of hops and caramel. In the mouth it is extremely bitter but with a slight juiciness, Masses of traditional hops along with traces of caramel and corn. Finish is very dry and slightly sticky. Took some getting used but it’s an interesting beer.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2013. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly broken white head. The aroma is big citrus fruit with some fresh spicy hops and malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a medium to weak body and a huge malty pepper spice palate and a short bitter finish.
