Birdie Num Num is our Session IPA with a lot of Simcoe-hops to create a taste of pine, combined with other types of hops to add a more tropical flavour. The result is a complex taste with high bitterness.

The parrot on the emblem is a tribute to the Peter Sellers character Hruni V. Bakshi.

Can 44 cl. Pours a clear golden with a solid and lacing, off-white head. Sligtly piney nose. Medium body, soft on the palate with a bitter finish. West Coast Session IPA I would call it. 110924

0.33l can, huge thanks djoeye! Shared with Hrabren and Ogi. Misty golden body, off-white head. Honeyish-floral-citric aroma, odd fruity notes. Lean, dry taste, empty, bit rubbery, just a void, vague resin and that's it, maybe citric if I really put my imagination to work. Chuggable but...

440ml can [courtesy of Claudius - thanks a lot!]. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Resinous, piney and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, slightly biscuity, pale malty background with a touch of salty cracker, hints of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of grapefruit. Taste is crisp, bitter, piney, resinous and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of grapefruit; minimally watery finish with a minimally perfumed, citrusy touch. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Crisp, refreshing, light but not too watery - nice West Coast style Ale.
