Birdie Num Num is our Session IPA with a lot of Simcoe-hops to create a taste of pine, combined with other types of hops to add a more tropical flavour. The result is a complex taste with high bitterness.

The parrot on the emblem is a tribute to the Peter Sellers character Hruni V. Bakshi.

33 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 03.02.2019. Aroma is a bit odd with cereal and coffee. Flavour has cold coffee, mild vegetable tones and pils-like grassy hoppiness. Unusual but interesting.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - 03.02.19, from Pien, 20170317) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A rather good hoppy brew with low ABV but remains thin.

500 ml bottles, from Coop Extra Farsund and Kiwi Tau. ABV is 4.7%, bitterness 89 IBU. Hazy pale golden colour, huge white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips. Fizzy mouthfeel. Yeasty flavour (obviously too much yeast in the bottle), very bitter (too bitter) hops.

Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Cheers! Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose has light yeast, dry lemon rind, hints of wheat. Medium sweet flavour with doughy pale malts, pale grains, citrus, hay. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Simple pale bread finish with restrained citrusy hops. Decent.
