Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 24/02/21. Pale insipid looking yellow to golden topped with a white head. Nose is orange pith, pine dusting, ripe melon, light weed, papaya. Taste comprises grapefruit, orange pith, pine needle, airy malts, mixed tropical fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy to lightly dankened hop bitterness. Decent well balanced hoppy number.

(Can, 0.44 l - canned on 15.10.2020 - BB 15.02.2021, from Pien Shop, 20201210) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had ripe tangerine, peach and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grapefruit, tangerine, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A pleasant fruity brew with good bitter finish.

On tap at Left Handed Giant Bristol. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Light dankness. some pineapple. some citrus fruits. something toasty. not much malt. moderate bitterness on the finish. not my kind of pale ale. a bit harsh. hops need a bit more balancing backbone. odd flavours.
