17/1/2021. Can from Hoppily, Leigh-on-Sea. Pours clear pale gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is sour citrus, yeast, lemon, malt, grain, grass. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, minimal tartness. Moderate body, slightly oily and fairly fizzy. Not great overall but looked good with a nice label too.

Tight white head left a cover on a finely carbonated straw coloured body. Malt & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a lifeless back. Malt, grain, washing up liquid & bitter tastes. Poor

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours just slightly hazed gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly sweet with lots of grainy pale malts, mild chlorophenol notes, some minerality, husky straw, a hint of lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nips of biscuits in the finish, a little chalk, more hay, flinty dryness. Not great, a little amateurish.
