This is a cask lager – so cask at Waters Green Tavern, Macclesfield. Pours a pale straw with a small frothy almost white head. There’s biscuits and lemon in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sharp with citrus, lemon and grains plus bready and pine hints. Finish is slightly dry. Not my sort of beer at all – but then cask lagers generally aren’t.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Clear light golden blonde with a white crown that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is citric sherbets, grass, lemon rind, pale malts. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, melon, grass, herb, toasted grains, airy malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow hop spattering. Not bad for a cask logger.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2022. Clear bright gold colour lasting white head. Hoppy very hoppy for a pale lager. Good earthy grapefruit hops. Good bitterness total surprise. i loved it. Best condition of cask beers I had today. Best bitterness too

Handpull cask at the Crown Inn, Heanor, as 'Cascade'. Light yellow and clear with a frothy white head. Sweet lemon notes, a little bit of grapefruit, hay and grass. A pleasant bitterness to the Taste that intensifies a bit throughout the sip until the bitter finish. Lemon dop in the aftertaste. Nicely put together.

8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, grapefruit, grass. Light sweetness, medium plus bitterness, moderate tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Dry with nice bitterness to finish. Nicely done.
