Can at CBJ tasting, thanks to Kenneth, 27/11/24. Clear copper with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter sweet fruit rinds, caramel, malt forward, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises fruit cake, toffee, sugars, sticky fruit rinds, candy bar. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light rising boost. Decent enough sipper.

Can at CBJ - London. Cheers to Kenneth. Pours pours oily honey-gold with a slight, creamy white head. Huge sweet flavour, gooey, stewed citrus, a little booze, toasted malts, mild leafy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, chewy, with delicate carbonation. Lightly warming finish, sticky sweet. OK in modest serving.

CBJ Bottleshare, thanks to me. A light haze on this amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Caramel and cream malts, mildly aged tasting but, that is more than offset by the good carbonation. Ripe fruits and some boozy spice on the semi dry finish. Decent barleywine, would certainly withstand a year or three.

Brunorange med beige skum. Lukter noe røde frukter og bondegård. Middels fylde. Fruktig, sursyrlig og noe bitter. Smaker tørket frukt, alkohol, trevirke og svisker. Middels lang.
