Cask ale, half at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Bright naked surface to a clear golden body. Fruity aroma, orange and peach. Smooth taste of lemony hops and bread followed by a well rounded fruity ending. Easy to drink, summer feel (London 28.09.2014).

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 26th September 2014. Golden amber with thin loose off-white foam. Hoppy aroma with yeastiness. Fruity in-mouth - softy citric - tangerine and grapefruit - with a fine complement of grass and savouriness. Ripe and malty in background. Finish carries same maltiness and becomes increasingly bitter with time. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Cask at CBC Clerko, 30/09/14. Clear golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is citric peel, light spice, straw, hoppy notes. Taste comprises bitter orange, citric peel, light caramel, straw, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok - hops donโ€™t really shine in this one though.

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell during the Northern Monk launch tap takeover. Pours perfectly clear, pale yellow with a light, bubbly-frothy white head. The nose has simple white bread, citrus and straw. Light-medium sweet flavor with further basic pale malts, minimal bitterness of straw and hay, some cereal, some lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation; perhaps lacking a touch of condition. Decent balance to finish with further cereal and dough, lightly bitter grass, straw, citrus rind. A very simplistic APA.

Keg. Leeds IBF. Hazy gold. Thin, white head. Very sweet, lemony, biscuit malt. Taste is sweet maltiness. Palate is pretty sweet, and thick. Some bitterness comes through at the end, but this isnโ€™t right, I think. Almost as if itโ€™s not been conditioned long enough? Hate giving low scores. Will re-rate.
