Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark, nutty brown with a small and lacing, beige head. Unclean, caramellish nose - somewhat rubbery. Medium body, massively phenollic covering almost whatever may have been pleasant underneath. Not many traces left of the original Belgian beer that was intended. Most is drowned in nasty, chemical phenols. 280621

Murky amber, fluffy offwhite head. Slow gusher, but the label warns about that, so ok I guess. Yeasty aroma, candi sugar. Malty, yeasty flavour, mild spice and bitter citrus.

Bottle, 7.5%. Bready aroma, hint of brown sugar. Seemingly clear dark brown colour with a red shine. Good light brown head. The flavour is roasted and slightly yeasty. Has a faint creamy note which I like. Distinct bitterness, slightly rough. Vinous and boozy finish with a bit more of the aforementioned cream. Has a faint spicy note but nicely subdued, so not a spice monster like some christmas beers.
