Tap at Dolden Mädel/Bayerischer Bahnhof Leipzig. Beer in the glass with a nice small head. Mild hoppy aroma. Starts mild, fein malty, shy salty touch. Fruity hints of apricot. Finish well balanced. Interesting one!

Auf der Zutatenliste taucht Koriander, Orangenschalen und Kamillenblüten auf. Trübe, recht helle Farbe. Sehr ungewöhnlicher Geruch. Bereits hier kommt der Koriander gut raus. Geschmacklich haben wir Frucht, Blumen und Gewürze. Erinnert an gewürzintensiven Wermut a la Carpano Bianco und Belsazar White - allerdings nicht so schwer, ohne Trauben und ohne die Alkohollastigkeit. Schön weich. Durchaus sehr lecker und süffig. Eines der wenigen Biere im belgischen Stil bei denen ich nicht dachte „Dazu muss man doch nicht das bayerische Reinheitsgebot vergewaltigen. Etwas ähnliches an Geschmacksspektrum und -intensität lässt sich auch mit der richtigen Auswahl an Malz, Hopfen und Hefe erreichen“. Hier klar nicht der Fall. Auch wenn ich ein klarer Verfechter des Reinheitsgebots bin - wenn das Ergebnis ausnahmsweise tatsächlich mal so überzeugend ausfällt, dann darf man da nicht päpstlicher als der Papst sein.

-- Bottled at Altes Mädchen, Hamburg. -- Lightly hazy golden, small head. Perfumy nose with coriander, orange and roses. Sweetish with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. White bread, coriander and syrup. Low bitterness.

Tap, next to the brewery. Cloudy golden. Camomille, muscat. Round, even a bit chewy. Also tastes like camomille, with a decent hoppy aftertaste. Interesting. Not bad.

Pale gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely floral aroma with lingering aloe vera. Taste is mildly bitter with cloves and yeast at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. The watery texture dampens an overall pleasant experience. Not bad.

Draught @ Altes Mädchen, Hamburg. Pours cloudy straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with sourish, grainy and spicy touches. Sourish, grainy flavour with estery and malty notes and touches of coriander and pepper. Bitter and estery aftertaste with acidic touches. A nice one for the style and an enjoyable beer as such, too.
