Absolute Silence is a riff on Sapphire Rose, combining outstanding New Zealand elements - Nelson & Waimea - with a beautiful newcomer here in America, Alora. Pouring a brilliant hazy yellow color into your glass, it exhibits notes of tropical fruit salad, earthy citrus, and ripe summer peach with a pleasing and enticing bitterness to balance the onslaught of juiciness. A simple beer in construct, Absolute Silence is remarkably expressive. Enjoy it in those require moments of solitude and reflection.

Half pour shared with ClarkVV in Tewksbury. Cloudy yellow with thin head, light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus over grape. Taste is strong white grape, citrus. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and slightly yeasty finish as taste. It’s not like citrusy Nelson hasn’t been done before but this is done well.

Tewks draught, 11/15/25, as pictured.
Juicy fruits and gummy worms with honey and mild fruit salad. Soft and yet aromatic and bright. Spice has some grape, some herb and lots of balancing malt and tropical fruit.
Fruity, juicy, spicy, peppery and sure a touch herbal. But still has good white grape and soft tropical fruit. Lower bitterness could be a touch stronger, but the attenuation is good and the texture soft and comfortable.

Shared at Palace Hall, Malmö March 2024 tasting (23/03/2024) - antipodean hoppy goodness delivered here, lots of crushed gooseberry and tender sweet white grape, citrus fruity undertones of pomelo soaking through, set upon a sweet creamy malty backbone, robust balanced bitter hoppy close.

Pours a hazy, peach-orange, with mid-sized and lasting head. Aroma is dank, with citrus and tropical fruit, maybe a touch of stonefruit. Flavors largely follow, with some earthy dankness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel.
